Brandybucks was a Lord of the Rings-themed restaurant on Northdown Road in Cliftonville. The image provided on which the painting is based seems to come from Flicker and is uncredited.

So many disappointed birthdays – never at Brandybucks. Based on J.R.R. Tolkien (not that I knew). Sadly, the restaurant closed before I ever went. Kate B.L
